1 SWITCH NAMES

(used with s, s1 and s0 commands for normal switches s0, s1, s2, etc. for rotary switches) This section describes the various switches in the EC-135 and their functions. Push buttons (marked with [b]), and rotary knobs (marked with [r]) are also shown here. Switches that are for RP purposes only and do not have an effect on the helicopter are marked [RP] in the description. For switches that have guards, the guard is addressed by appending a "-g" to the switch name (marked with [-g] after the name in the table below).

1.1 Electrical System

Switch Description batt Energizes DC primary buses from the main battery gen1 Energizes #1 DC bus from generator on #1 engine gen2 Energizes #2 DC bus from generator on #2 engine inv Inverter. Energizes AC Bus from primary bus shed[-g] Shed non-essential electrical systems. tie1[-g] Ties battery to #1 primary bus when in NORM position tie2[-g] Ties battery to #2 primary bus when in NORM position

1.2 Fuel System

Switch Description prime1 Prime pump for for #1 engine prime2 Prime pump for for #2 engine xfer-f Forward fuel transfer pump. Feed both left and right tanks. xfer-a Aft fuel transfer pump. Feed both left and right tanks.
