4 Video Entertainment System

Figure 2: Video System

Two independent media systems are located in fold up arm rests between both the two aft seats and the two forward seats. Clicking a display(Figure 2) will fold it up or down. Below each display are buttons to turn power on/off and to change channels. The media system uses a separate power bus from the main helicopter and do not require the master switch to be on. The media channels are defined in a notecard named "*channels" in the helicopter object. Each line in the notecard defines the URL for one channel, numbered in the order in which the appear in the notecard.

When defining channels from YouTube, the best results are obtained when using the embeddable form of the URL. Normally this can be done with minor modification to the regular URL. For example, if the regular url is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGFF7phnPbc the embedded form of the URL would be https://www.youtube.com/embed/pGFF7phnPbc. Note that due to license restrictions, not all YouTube videos have an embeddable form. One additional useful form might be: https://www.youtube.com/embed/pGFF7phnPbc?playlist=pGFF7phnPbc&autoplay=1&loop=1. This will automatically start playing the video and loop the video when it completes.

5 Luggage System

Figure 3: Video System

A linked luggage system allows you to unload luggage and move it around while still linked to the helicopter. The luggage is located in the compartments behind the main cabin (Figure 3). There are two access doors on either side of the helicopter. The right door provides access to one suitcase and the golf bag. The left door provides access to the other suitcase. After opening the door, click on a suitcase or golf bag to access the menu. Select "Unload" to unload that piece of luggage. The aircraft must be non-physical (parked) in order to unload luggage. In addition, if luggage is already unloaded, the aircraft will be prevented from going physical (unparking).

Once unloaded, you can can click on the luggage for a menu including one or more of the following options:

  • Load - Load the luggage back into the helicopter.
  • Pull - Follow the person who selected this option.
  • Let Go - Let go of the luggage and stop following.
  • Handle Up/Down - Toggle the position of the handle (suitcases only).

When pulling luggage, it will detect the ground position and move up or down accordingly. Access to luggage menus is open to any avatar, but the menus can only be accessed with the baggage doors open. This allows ground personnel to take care of your bags for you.
