SECTION 3. AVIONICS

Radios

The MD-500D is equipped with radio communication equipment consisting of:

  • A KMA 345 audio panel
  • A primary VHF COM/NAV radio
  • A KTX 327 Mode-S transponder
  • A KNC 250XL combined GPS and secondary VHF radio

The audio panels, COM radios, and GPS are described in following sections.
